don't stick with stock, it's a white light meant to be behind an amber housing to get the amber signal color. You now have a clear lens and need a amber light to stay legal. What I did and what seems to be one of the most popular options is to disable the DRL's as explained at cadillacfaq.com and use silverstar sylvanias, a clear light that lights up amber.

On an related note I was not smart enough to get the LED's to work in my signals and got frustrated and went and bought silverstars so I didn't have to deal with that load resistor. If anyone wants 1 load resistor and 2 nice LED's let me know.

With he Sylvania Silverstar, you don't need a load resister. It's a standard bulb that iluminates amber but it has a nice look to it (bluish).

Some guys are disabling the DRL lights so you don't have that fried egg look on your car.
