| | | Re: Fog and side marker lens *Group Buy* I installed the clear fogs two weeks ago. Now I see the inside of the lens is clouding-up. Is anyone else having that problem? I used clear silicon to seal them and I wondering if the silicon is outgassing causing the clouding on the inside of the fog light cover? Or is it the heat from the lamp combined causing it.
The guys that used epoxy, are you seeing that after 14 days? |

| | | Re: Fog and side marker lens *Group Buy* I don't think it's a defective lens, and I did clean it before I installed it. I just don't think it's as clear as when I installed it and I think it may be the silicon. The fog section has a air vent so moisture can escape, so I don't think it's moisture. Just wondering if the guys that used epoxy have noticed the same. |

Had them on for a full year now, temperatures ranging from 100* to 3*, no moisture or anything at all inside the lense. After my install i checked water tightness by placing my housing in water and making sure nothing got in. You might want to try this. Just submerge the housing in water lense first. If you see water get in, you have a chink in your armor. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
