The fogs fit, but you need a different bracket...either of a CTS-V or a STS-V.....I didnt change the inner fenders

For me the problem is finding the fog brackets. They don't sell them separately and I have not seen them on Ebay. Does anybody know where I can get them?

The mounting bracket for the CST-V and STS-V is very similar but there is a big difference between V and non V brackets. The V brackets (STS and CTS) both appear to have 2 clips on the bottom, where as the CTS bracket appears to just have a single clip.

Do the brackets just "click" in or are they mounted with screws through the 2 holes on the bottom of the bumper?

the sts ones have to be slightley modded to fit the cts v bumper.

I know, but is there any way to modify the cts bracket fit in the cts-V bumper?

You can always modify something to work, but then your brake duct, below the fog light, will be visible as a hole....there were alot of people that upgraded their foglights by buying STS-V foglights....and they came with the housing that they couldnt use, thats how I got mine ...start a thread asking if anyone has them, here and in the V forum
