Quick audio question

So i have a four channel i want to use. Im going to bridge 3-4 to power the sub and use 1-2 for my new components. My question is can i still use the factory bose amp to push the stock bose speakers in the rear?

and also will the aftermarket infinity tweeters with the component set fit in the same spot on the pillar behind the bose cover

You could find a way to wire it that way...there is always a way to wire anything....but how will it sound is the real question ...THis is not going to be an easy install, I can tell you that right now

yes, the components will work just fine, depending on what size you got....Tweeters are a standard size, its the mids that would affect the size.....

i gotcha but i dont understand why the install would be so hard? I cant just tap into the rear speakers after the bose amp to have inputs for the new amp and then just wire up the components and subs to the new amp

It all depends on your level of understanding wiring It will be a wiring mess, you will see

Also, like I said the biggest thing is sound....Your bose system automatically mutes the rears a bit for more staging, your now going to take that signal and send it up front, and still try to get good staging out of it all.....This now depends on how much of an audiophile you are

ok i have another quick question flip, i can use the 2ohm infinity components for the front even thought the door speaker is 2 ohm and the tweeter is 4ohm? And i can just use 4ohm coaxial speaker in the rear doors?

is there a certain way i have to wire the new components up since the factory amp splits the signal to the door speaker and the tweeter? Can I just wire the crossover for the new components with the wire going to my current door speaker and go from there?

Thats why i got my CTS with the half-decent Bose system and do not plan on touching it! Every other car I owned I installed my own systems. I refuse to touch the CTS audio...
