I actually have the in-dash Nav in my V, and I still use the garmin instead. What I do like about the in-dash nav is the huge display that is very easy to read for controlling the radio and cds.

I'm not sure what you're expecting from the navigation, but I get from starting location to destination without hesitation or representation!

I called them late last week and the first thing he said was that it had a cracked screen. Thought I found a good deal.

Yea me too... Thing was, I asked him 3 times on the phone before I bought it... "Are you SURE that the LCD is not cracked, just the plastic outter screen?'"

He assured me the LCD was good and even went on to say "if the LCD was cracked I wouldnt even try to sell it"

I get the package and the LCD is cracked, call him, he says sorry, send it back. So I send it back.

I had to open a case with my credit card company for them to give me my money back.

my problem is when you deviate from the calculated route, it takes 20-30 seconds to recalculate. you could have easily passed an alternative route in that time. The garmin recalculates in 3-4 seconds. plus the caddy nav sometimes loses its place on the map. these issue might just be mine, i dont know. not that i blame the caddy. like i said, it is based on probably 10 year old technology at least. where the garmin is last years model.
