You are correct Urb..my apologies. Mitch at the Mod City has been extremely helpful and will work with you if need be. I suggest going with him. He will be very honest with you, which he did with me.

Thanks again Mitch!

First off, I want to thank you for making your position known on this thread. It is always important to know the position of the party in question, that they be allowed to speak on their own behalf. As such, I apologize for any amount of untruth I may have attributed to your ebay business.

It is true that your price was upped shortly after you began selling, this is your perogative.

I am glad we agree there was a listing adverting as Ultra Wheels, and I did in fact contact my pro-shop guy who said Ultra was p*ssed and in fact LAMBASTED someone, evidently Ebay user "tucker394". This could be the reason, in part, he is not selling these items any more.

Additionally, I appreciate your membership first to this forum, as well as a seller of cadillac items. All too often sellers, especially on Ebay, do not have a vested interest in a particular community such as this one. When they are a part of said communities, should their intentions be selfish, they usually do not last long. This does not seem to be the case, telling by your length of time as a member. In any event I am sure you understand the need for advocacy, if any of my comments were misdirected you have my apologies.

Does anyone know of an alternative that's 'like' those...that would work?

I couldnt find anything search wise......but that'd be a great thing..if it would work...
I also like the stock V rims and I've wondered what it would take to put them on a regular CTS. The only thing that appears to be different, is the 6 bolt hub. Has anyone attemped to convert their CTS to a 6 bolt CTS-V setup? Was it as simple as swapping the hub&rotor from a CTS-V and upgrading the calipers? Are the spindels the same? Was there anything else that I've missed?

Re: CTS-V stock rims --- I like..question

I'm hard-pressed to find your reasoning to want to put those wheels on your vehicle. First and foremost, considerable work including spacers/adaptors will be required. OR, I guess you could try to adapt a 6-lug CTS-V hub system to your car - very considerable expense. The only reason I can see for your wanting those wheels, over say - 'those particular ones on eBay', is that you do not desire chrome.

I am not an advocate of spacers nor adaptors. Reconstructing your wheel mounting system on your vehicle to become that of a CTS-V, is the only one I can recommend if you truly must have real CTS-V wheels on your non-CTS-V CTS. Not cheap though!

Are there any CTSV type wheels that are not chrome on ebay or anywhere else in 18 inch. Can anyone recommend a place to buy some

idk if this helps, but why dont u just change to the six lug hubs that come on the v's and srx's? ive got a set of 6 lug rears that id be interested in selling, just make me an offer, and you can probably find some fronts laying around in a salvage yard somewhere
