CTS V Exhaust

Remove this ad
Would stock exhaust off of a CTSV fit onto a 3.2L? Found a nearby V owner that is willing to give up his old exhaust for free.

thanks

Re: CTS V Exhaust

really? Why would it hurt it? I like the sound of the V exhaust, want dual exhaust but most of the dual exhaust kits I found for the 03 sound way too loud

Re: CTS V Exhaust

if HP/TQ is not a concern for you, then go ahead with the V exhaust, its free, & more attractive to look at and an improvement over the stock sound.

Re: CTS V Exhaust

I have it....I love it...One of my favorite mods. Gives a nice rumble....I cant say I have a HP loss, it feels like a gain, but i never had a Dyno done, but like I said even if it truely is a loss, mentally its a gain(feels stronger, peppier and sounds amazing with K&N intake) and I love it

Re: CTS V Exhaust

Yeah im pricing out an Intake online, the one for my alero was 150, but for cts its like 240-350. Whats the pros and cons to both K and N and the volant? Is there alot of work involved to get the V exhaust to work with the 3.2L?

Re: CTS V Exhaust

If you can't use the free V exhaust I will gladly take it off your hands!!!!! I have the K&N on my 3.2 as most forum members with the 3.2 do and LOVE it. The Volant is better for the 3.6L guys.

K&N is very easy!! Took me about 45 minutes and I am very cautious about my CTS! Let me know how you like that V exhaust!!
