New Rear Diff

Well, It had been acting funny for a while (car felt like trans was slipping when going from reverse to drive after first starting the car.), finally took it to the dealer . Turns out the rear diff was shot (metal shavings caused by failed bearings in diff) and a right rear bearing was bad also. Not mad at all though. Car has almost 71k on it. Also, car was CERTIFIED!!! Thank goodness. After all new rear diff and rear bearing ,car feels like new again.


Does anyone know who the diff supplier supplier is?

They need to be fired asap!!!


Test drove and 08 DI 4 and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!What a difference!!

Same thing happened to my 07 CTS SportLux at 26,000. Complete carrier assembly/rear differential replaced.
