Remove this ad

Re: bump stops for eibach springs?

They go inside the upper cover over the shaft, if you don't have load leveling shocks. Lowering eats up quite a bit of suspension travel, especially when loaded down.

Re: bump stops for eibach springs?

I also have an 04 & I'm trying to decide on whether to switch to the eibach springs. Did you start out with the regular or sport suspension? Did you change anything else, eg. shock, etc? Do you find that the ride is much harsher or just firmer?

Re: bump stops for eibach springs?

I got these springs installed a few months back, and they put in these bump stops for me. I did not have the load leveling shocks, so I don't know if they are even needed or what they even do.

Re: bump stops for eibach springs?

I have the soft suspension and the springs really helped firm up the ride. especially around corners. but it isnt harsh it still rides like a caddy. good improvement for 25o bucks but dont forget u need a 4 wheel alignment after that cost arount 70-90 bucks. in the spring i hope to get the sway bars and then the car will handle great.

Also remember that you should go and get another wheel alignment after about 3 months since the springs will settle and may throw off alignment. This should be free if you had a shop do the springs for you.
