Over the last four years I get 20-23 MPG in my 2004 3.6L in the city depending how well I behave myself.

Re: What's your average MPG?

I have an '07 2.8 auto and drive it very easy. I anticipate lights and don't have jack rabbit starts (sometimes) I am getting around 17 - 18 in the city and can't seem to get any higher (unless I add in highway miles). I read that others are getting over 20. I think there might be something wrong with the computer because when I went to change my clock, all of a sudden my mpg went down to 12. I'm going to check it the manual way once I fill up the tank.
Still looking for a trunk deck (preferably black). Huntersville, NC.
Thanks.

Re: What's your average MPG?

Aurora is a front wheel drive car, CTS is rear wheel drive. Big difference in FWD and RWD cars with respect to gas mileage. Physics 101: easier to pull weight than push it.

Re: What's your average MPG?

'04, 3.6L, auto, completely stock including tires:
suburban mixed driving (summer) gets 20 - 21 mpg
75 mph interstate (summer) gets 27 - 27.5 mpg

These numbers are calculated from a corrected odometer divided by pump readout. The dash readout is always high by at least 1 mpg.

Re: What's your average MPG?

60k miles 2005 cts 3.6l lux/sports pack.

city driving = 11.5L /100 km
highway driving = 8.1L /100 km
mixed driving = 10.2L /100 km

sorry for the L/100km the car reads it like that and I'm not used to calculate in mpg.
