Setting radio to display song/artist title?

Would anyone know how to set the radio to display song/artist title? I know i have it set so if the station i have on has the song/artist information it would show up. but i dont know how to change it so the clock isnt always showing. can this even be done? And also when i do have the radio on how can i check to see what station is on with out having to move the volume to clear the display. I hope you get what im trying to say. Im not sure how to put it in words at best.

did you go into your DIC? it has all the personalizations in setup

If you have the standard radio it can't be done. You can set it to display when you press a button or adjust the sound, etc. but it will always revert back to the clock. If you have your owner's manual check the settings for your specific radio.

Thanks guys. i did read the manual but it didnt tell me much. i have the single CD radio so i guess i cant have this work like how i want it. i went over all of the set up a few times. Oh well ill have to deal with it

I have the same issue. I wish the screen info would at least scroll by once! I feel your pain!
