well i took apart the intake and i have concluded that it was coolant runoff that was at the bottem of my intake.....Im not happy about it but like i said it still runs fine and i cleaned it out so here are some pics

im pretty sure it was coolant because it smelled kinda sweet but there wasnt much..... It has idled a little rough for a while and I think this might be the reason.(dirty sark plugs) But i have a pair of Ngk iridium Ix's i am putting in as soon as I get the bumper done

anyway 3.2 guys i reccomend checking yours

The two tubes that are on the top of the throttle body are the PCV return. Your going to get it looking like that cause oil/gas goes back into the intake there. Mine was the same way. I took my throttle body off and did a little honing to it and the upper intake to. I didn't notice a difference. Looks to me like the PCV is doing it's job.

Re: I was wrong it wasnt the pcv valve

That looks pretty gnarly to me. I've never seen a TB with that much burned oil in it, even on cars with 150k miles. Are you running a paper filter or an oiled type, such as K&N or Volant? If it's oiled, you need to clean it and re-oil it with VERY little oil, becuase there's too much now.

If paper, and you're getting that kind of oil buildup, I'd be tempted to cap those PCV lines with a breather filter to keep my oil level from getting low due to large amounts of it getting sucked into the engine and burned. Can't be good for carbon buildup in the engine, either.

I'd say the first step is a good Seafoam treatment to clear out your passageways in the top half of the motor. Google "seafoam treatment" to get the directions. It's a mild detergent that will clear the crap out of the top end, and judging by those pictures, you've got a lot.

yeah i got a volant but that type of oil is different...you can see where the pcv line dumps right where the burnt sh!t is so forget about that filter talk.

but the seafoam idea is good i will do that for sure
