I am just curious on how to turn the TC off on an 06 , On my GTP there is just a switch that I push.

Or it's in your main menu on your radio, or you can set your display key to TCS, or one of your SWC (steering wheel controls)

The word traction control is misleading. It has nothing to do with the LSD. It gains traction control by pulsing the brakes and throttling back the engine. If you're trying to do some spirited driving you don't want your brakes and engine slowing you down. Make sense?

having your t/c off lets you drift, burn out, also lets you accelerate quicker -- if you've ever punched it you'll feel the car kinda pull back for a fraction of a second and the display will read "Traction Engaged" .. with it off you traction control off you wont experience that mini stall and will make the acceleration smoother and the your time a bit faster. But if you're not planning on an adrenaline rush, then keep it on.
i have an 06 too, and the only way i know of turning it off is the button in the glove box (you'll see a yellow light turn on between your tachometer and odometer). But listen to the ppl in this forum-- a lot of them can offer u a lot of valuable info

Just wanted to know ... On my GTP I remove fuse 28 when I want to do burnouts

I programed the #4 steering wheel control to turn off the traction control. Lot easier than reaching out into the glove box to turn it off. Just in case I get the urge to go fast.
