| | | Can't wait - Next Gen CTS W/Awd Trying to make it up a baby of a hill today was slow going. The Traction control and winter mode made it halfway up the hill....
TCS off and quarter throttle made it the rest of the way. It was rather amusing, looking out my rearview was like my car was a very expensive snow blower lol.
I for one can't wait for the next gen CTS with AWD...
Who else will be buying a CTS-4 when they come out? |

| | | Re: Can't wait - Next Gen CTS W/Awd Not really sure. I'm waiting for a '09 CTS-V. I'm not even sure if the V will have AWD. Even if it does, I think I'd still lean towards RWD.

| | | Re: Can't wait - Next Gen CTS W/Awd I thought the general consensus in the V forum is that the awd gears would get eaten by V torque. I can't see them selling well, it would make a V too expensive. Not to mention, theres only one car in its class that has awd on the hi-perf version, and thats the RS4. But it only comes as quattro, no rwd, so...
I'd bet your V the next won't have awd...
Now as for the CTS-A...I couldn't be bothered... |

| | | Re: Can't wait - Next Gen CTS W/Awd The RS4 is amazing, the S6 is... tit. and the RS6 is... orgasmic.
Then there is the S8, haha. Oh, the joys of having hundreds of thousands of dollars of disposable income... I wish.
Ain't happening until PhD at least. lol |

| | | Re: Can't wait - Next Gen CTS W/Awd This car sucks in the snow. Sometimes i get stuck somewhere and go to check out what it is and it doesnt look to bad. Im just like wtf? This is freakin caddy. But anyway, Yeah i'll probably look for AWD CTS but not till 2011 when i can get an 09.
Plus im having to much fun with my v replica (exterior only). lol.
I dont have hundreds of thousands of dollars in disposable income either, unfortunatley ....... |

I find having the right tires makes the most difference in the world. |

| | | Re: Can't wait - Next Gen CTS W/Awd I've had mine stuck on perfectly flat ground. Once I had to dig for four hours of hell digging and moving a few feet. Digging and a few more. Damn my back yard was a disaster. I bought mine with wide tires from the dealer and then went to 20's. Niether are worth a damn in snow. Awd would be nice but when I trade her in I'm going for a slightly used V I think. I'm wishing for the 427 to trickle down from the vette to the V car. It will happen....Oh, it will happen... I've dreamed the dream...every falling star...
I don't know what to think about that front end on the new one. Hard to get used to for me.
I like the race lines she has. I mean the cts lines and shape was a sexual experiance for me when I first saw it.
The 300 came out right when I got mine. It didn't hold up. The lines just aren't unique. A good looking car but it just doesn't have combo the cts has. In my humble opinion for a four door car it may be the all around sexiest car I can think of. You can have the round ass aero blobs everyone else makes. |
