Headlight Replacement

Ok, I want to upgrade the bulbs in the lowbeam headlights to Sylvania Ultra. But i havent a clue how to get to the bulbs to replace them. This is a non HID situation.???? any help??

According to Sylvania, Ultras are not an option for the CTS. Only Sylvania Silverstars, Cool Blues and Standard bulbs.

Thanks for sharing your Bumper Removal process.

Seems to be a rediculous way to change headlight bulbs.

Almost like "How many Newfies does it take to change a light bulb", 3. One to hold the bulb, and two to turn the step ladder around."

Takes about 5 minutes for my Chev Silverado or Astro.

Hope my HIDs will last a while.

This is NUTZ.But then when i was at the Toronto auto show the other day and looked at the other cars there was no room to get your hand in enywhere to change the headlight bulbs on many other cars.

Hey Jon, awesome bumper removal instructions, thanks! But I was wondering, how much did you pay for your HID kit? and did it void the warranty? How long did it take you to install it and whats the difficulty level?

I paid $143 shipped. I bought 3 kits from them. 2 for the CTS (low beams and fogs) and 1 for the V's fogs.

Installing the low beams are a pain. My ballast didnt fit in the factory location, so we had to modify the headlamp housing. Also, you have to drill a hole into the headlamp housing for the wires to go from the bulb to the ballast, then you have to seal it up with silicone or something.

Warranty wise, my dealer doesn't know, nor do I think they care.
