3.2 Denso Iridium

has anyone put these in a higher milage 3.2L I figure since Im around 80k its time for new plugs....I just want to know if its worth the premium??

robert I know u liked them could u actually tell a difference

I was getting a high RPM miss with my mods. It went away after installing the Iridiums, so who knows. They're not that expensive and since you plan to change them anyway why not go for the good stuff.

well are you experiencing misfires?
no? then why fix what is not broken.

and the long life platinum plugs have been known to last beyond 100k easily.

no car runs great...but it could always run better and a little rough idle right at the start if hasent started in a couple days

Gettin' it run and getting all the HP that GM intended is what you're after. Sometimes they're not 100% from the factory. At 80,000 miles you're at the bad end of a good tune IMO.

Yeah 80k is crazy, u must drive literally everywhere lol... My 03 just went over 50K last month or so... But its really good to know at 80k your still running strong, my previous american cars all started sh!tting the bed at around 80-85k...

My '04 just turned 34,000. I think the national average is 12,000 to 15,000 per year. So I'm lookin' good.

80k isn't all that much... it's only 16k per year. Way more than my car, but still not out of control. It could have been an early 03 and been on the road for a full 5 years.

IM at 80k.....I bought it with 45k last october.....Gotta love outside sales and putting over 30k miles on a car in about a year...I luckily have a different job thats more fun and less miles on the car and Im the boss

BUt my car runs just as good as it did 35k miles ago.....Im glad I got the certified warranty up to 100k though just in case
