|  | Cadillac Owners Master Cadillac(s): 04 cadillac cts v | | Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Dekalb IL Age: 28 | | | 3.2 Denso Iridium has anyone put these in a higher milage 3.2L I figure since Im around 80k its time for new plugs....I just want to know if its worth the premium??
robert I know u liked them could u actually tell a difference

robert I know u liked them could u actually tell a difference  | I was getting a high RPM miss with my mods. It went away after installing the Iridiums, so who knows. They're not that expensive and since you plan to change them anyway why not go for the good stuff.  |

no? then why fix what is not broken.
and the long life platinum plugs have been known to last beyond 100k easily. |

Sometimes they're not 100% from the factory. At 80,000 miles you're at the bad end of a good tune IMO. |

My 03 just went over 50K last month or so... But its really good to know at 80k your still running strong, my previous american cars all started sh!tting the bed at around 80-85k... |

Way more than my car, but still not out of control. It could have been an early 03 and been on the road for a full 5 years. |

BUt my car runs just as good as it did 35k miles ago.....Im glad I got the certified warranty up to 100k though just in case  |
