Sirius Radio Install on 04 cts, bose stereo, 6cd without xm

Have searched the forum for the answer, but can not find one that answers it exactly. Hope someone can help

I have an 04, cadillac cts with bose and 6 disc cd changer stock. Yes it has info button. It did not come installed with xm.

I tried to get sirius put into my car to play through the factory radio, but the place i went to told me that It could not be done because the wire they need only comes when XM is installed. They told me the only thing i could do besides getting a different radio was to go to the dealership and tell them to install XM in my car, just so they can replace the xm with the sirius. Pretty stupid huh? Does anybody have any experience with this?

I just did this 2 weeks ago. All you have to do is tech 2 the radio to receive the digital radio at your service department and purchase the sirius cts radio harness at radiosandmore.com for $65. I had circuit city install the SIR-GM1 and have no problems with it.

Thanks alot, do you have a direct link for it on radiosandmore, i cant seem to find it. Also, how much does a tech2 run? and do only caddy dealerships do it? Sorry if some questions are newb, this is my first cad
