I just installed the Sirius Sir-gm1 on my 2005 cts with no xm with the harness from radioaandmore.com. I was just wondering if the song title and artist is suppose to be displayed on the DIC. |

I had the radio tech 2 to receive the digital radio, Purchased a special harness from www.radiosandmore.com, and had circuit city install the sir-gm1. Everything thing works great and am enjoying Howard and the music. Also just found out that to show the artist and song info. you use the I clock display configuration. Good luck you should have no problems with it. |

My 04 will be here in 2 weeks and I want to have it ready for Sirius, so just to make sure this is the list.
Get SIR-GM1 (sitting here waiting)
Get harness for radiosandmore, if they still offer it
If I can't get the harness, splice into the factory harness and add the pins needed.
Enjoy
I did the NAV, LUX, Sirius install on my Sierra so wiring is no problem
Thanks Matt |

The harness from radios and more worked great but it isn't cheap. I used the links found here only about a month ago so i would think they still sell it. I remember it being called CTS/SRX harness, at least something with SRX in the title. The total install took me about 15 minutes. I put the SIR GM1 in the glove box and ran the radios and more harness to the back of my nav and it came on instantly. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
