Hey, I wanted to change the dash pieces. I dont like the whole woodgrain kit, I'd rather have the silver brush aluminum that the ' V 's come with. I like the look of those, really clean and simple. Anyone have any suggestions? |

I got the simulated brushed alum. 51 piece kit from www.wooddashexperts.com . I didnt use the whole kit ( too busy imo) but only select parts of the kit and was very happy with it . My car has the light grey and black interior |

The chrome will show wayyy to many scratches after a while and the sun reflects off it, making it hot and could blind you. Brush aluminum looks much more simple and clean too. |

I went with the full real brushed aluminum ket from nycdashes.com, its held up quite well for the last 4 years, nice quality too. they also offer some new styles there as well, like 3D wrapped dash kits. here is a photo of my interior with the full install...... http://http://www.cardomain.com/memb...55_16_full.jpg
if that doesn't work, try.... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2219655/1
and a full interior shot from my CTS on nycdashes.... http://nycdashes.com/gallery/Cadilla...2004%20RBA.JPG
although I saw RobertCTS's mixed wood/brushed aluminum and that looks nice too |

You might think about getting creative and combining materials. I used the factory zabraino(sp) and aluminum. It has a nice look. |

Aluminim is defintley the way to go unless you have the neutral interior. If you have the Lux package you would probably end up having to do what robert did and make a mix of aluminm wood and a couple of spots.... But defintley, the aluminum looks better. The wood-grain kit is more old man style. |

XSCORPION: are your floor mats black or graphite? Looks good, I same the same interior and want to upgrade the mats. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
