Katsuro 35W HID Kit- 6000k [KAT-6500] Bulb Type: 9005 (HB3) ....will it look awkward with my stock HID's? I know the stock ones are not as bright so that is why I ask. But I like more light so I'd probably upgrade the stock bulbs at a later date.
By the way, what do the bulbs (6000K) themselves run?

Go ahead at anytime you're ready. Honestly, the group purchase would lower the price a maximum of $10 so it's not really worth waiting as long for such a nominal saving.

If any more questions arise feel free to contact us.

Thanks!

I've seen them run like that before and it really doesn't look bad at all. I'll check on the price on the bulbs themselves and get back to you.

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks! I think I will order the set now. Do you have access to the order form so you can make sure I didn't screw anything up?
Is the below kit the one I need to upgrade my fog lights?

Thanks Mark! I just placed my order. Feel free to look it over to make sure it is correct. It is an order from Rolando Ochoa.

Also, please PM me or email me and let me know about bulb replacement costs for my stock HID bulbs. I'd like to get my low beams as bright as I can. I'm not sure what the stock ones are rated at. They light up quite a bit of the road but if another light will light up more then I will look into getting them. Matching the bulb up to the fogs I just purchased would be nice to. Thanks!

High beams and fogs

Since we are on the topic of lights.....
My car is a 2006 CTS Sport. Does anyone know how to keep the fog lights on when the brights are on?

Re: HID Fogs Installed! Pics!

Got my HID fog lamp kit today. Everything looks good. I was reading the instructions and it seems kind of confusing. Maybe it will make more sense when I have the car apart.
This should be a simple plug and play mod, correct? The instructions are written as if I am replacing the headlamps, not the fogs. So I'm just wondering if the stock fogs just unplug and then I plug in the ballast to the factory plug and then the HID's to the ballast and put it back in the hole where the factory fog light was in.

I'm assuming this is how it is connected and the plug with the red/black wire plugs to the factory harness. Then you just have to replace the stock bulb with the HID one and secure all the wires and ballast.

Re: HID Fogs Installed! Pics!

You have that right, but when you plug in the factor plug to the ballast, it goes in backwards. As in the clip on the connector will be on the wrong side.

Oh my god, Japanese..

You mean when I connect the factory plug to the red/black wire plug, right? I don't think there is another plug on the ballast as the plug from the lamp goes into the ballast plug.

Re: HID Fogs Installed! Pics!

Now that your HID's are installed, did you see what I meant by that plug?
