The Shady Deal From CADILLAC MOTOR SPORTS

Hi All,
It's been a year ago this month (JAN.06) that we had a group buy from this CTS fourm to but Hugger Headers 2005 CTS 3.6 from Pete Raimondi At
CADILLAC MOTOR SPORTS and to pay half now($850.00) and the other half when finished which was March of 06.Well as of this day Jan 14th 2007
still no Headers or my $850. Back in Aug 06 Pete did say free Cadillac jacket
and door lock for forgetting my order!!!Did not get them ether..
Left calls to Pete and left messages on his cell phone and emailed in Nov. and all of December and still no reply!!!I did file a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and Attorney Generals office in Maryland in Dec.06 and have heard
nothing yet....So now what????All I want is my $850. back....
Any suggestions from anyone is wecome..........Matt

that really sucks. Robert and one or two others were the only ones to receive their headers... no one else.

Who's going to step forward to defend Pete this time? Maybe O.J.? The guy thumbs his nose at the world. At least you can say he never let his conscience get the better of him.

It would be interesting to know if he ever made a set on his own. It appears he liquidated what he got from Lund and that ended it. Bob said his were extrude honed and coated but there's no way to tell who fabricated them in the first place.

i was actually gonna say, he probably sold all of Lunds old ones and said they were gonna make more and never did. but i didnt type it.

RobertCTS needs to send his headers to Matthijs and then beg for a replacement set from Pete for himself. It seems fair to me. It's pretty apparent that there were never enough sets to go around and Matthijs got hosed.

Wonder if there is anything the forum can do with helping get the money back.........Mods?? Anything that can help recoup some money, if it hasnt already been done??

I'd say that the place to start is with a boycott of CMS. He has already been warned by Urby. Now he needs the "bum's rush". He was given enough rope to hang himself a dozen times.

agreed. ok, some of you guys are lawyers, some legal advice please? i didnt send money, thank God i have a 3.2. but i hate to hear of friends being ripped off like that.

I got flamed a while back for stating that this guy seemed a little fishy, and now this. I'm really sorry to hear he took off with your money like this.

Did you pay with a credit card? If so, dispute the charge by calling your card co. and letting them know you never received the merchandise. Do the same if it was Paypal. Let us know how it's going.
