Ok check to see if the company still exsists. If it does call my best friend the Better Business Burearu. Informed them of your problem. They would most likely take the case ,and open a can of worms that he doesnt want to open. Just make sure ou have proof like a bill statment, or a receipt.
If the company doesnt exsists look for a lawyer that handles claims in that state, and most likely they''ll take the case. just my .02 cents |

THey can create some grief for him. Otherwise you can file a small claims action in the jurisdiction even if you are not personally there. Then you pay the sheriff to execute against his bank account to force payment, if you know where he banks through a cancelled check, etc. |

They really go after scam artists. Both times that I filed complaints everything cleared up as soon as the attorney general's office called them. Maryland is almost as bad as Delaware. Why do you think that insurance companies and credit card companies operate out of those states?

He has Raimondi's home address and phone number. I gave him a Forum Lawyers name who has helped another member. Matt elected to go his own way.
Pete has been in and out of hospitals for the past year. Now he's at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD. My guess is Matt's headers are the fartherest issue in his life now.
I've purchased two sets of cross drilled brakes, the Hugger headers and a NAV system. I never had any problems.
SD Marine Guy, PJEsquire and myself received our headers. PJ & I both received our brakes.
There's nothing else I can do. |

And really its not my place to chime in on this. But I think this is just the biggest negative thing on this thread and I think I speak for everyone that it is getting old. I just want to see this guy get his money back so this thread dissapears forever. Thats all. I am sorry to hear about pete...all things aside |

In Ohio the Small Claims Court has no muscle. They can only tell what should be done. They don't have the power to make someone pay. The guy doesn't even have to show up on the court date.
Same way with the BBB. They have no muscle. All they can do is kick you out of BBB. If not a member you still can get a bad write up for other BBB members can read. But they can't get your money back.
As for advice from forum members is not a good idea. He shoulda sought the legal advise that I suggested.
I really don't think this tr-tread serves any purpose other than get people pissed off or something they have no control over. |

The idea would be to go wake up early on a saturday , and drive to someones house that has your money and ask for it back . Knowing your pissed thats just asking for trouble Robert. So don't say peoples advice is not a good idea when yours isn't to bright as well. As far as having muscle the BBB has muscle try them ,and see or wait i got an idea, why doesnt Robert give a call for the guy ,seeing how he knows alot of info ,and inform him of whats happening to his reputation and his company, but hey you could always just take that drive just make sure you ask nicely. just my .2 cents |

How about starting a fund for Matthijs to help recoup. I'll commit for $100.00 if others will give some until we have his $850.00. |

Maybe he thinks of himself as a big shot entrepeneur and his pride won't allow him to admit that he can't pay. Otherwise he'd tell Matt or direct someone else to telll him his real situation rather than spread some more BS about freebies and stiff him some more. A guy staring at the grim reaper is in no position to be crapping on his fellow man. It's more likely he'd be trying to clean up as many messes as he could. The whole story just doesn't make any sense. If it doesn't make sense then it probably isn't true. I could see Pete trying to get off a parting shot at an enemy but it doesn't make sense he'd be creating more messes for his heirs to have to deal with.
