I smell lemons........
If its too good to be true guess what....The car would need to be inspected with a fine tooth comb and about every test that could be done on a vehicle before purchasing. Definately has to have something seriously wrong that can not be diagnosed.

I would buy it if I had 18 grand laying around or atleast I knew I could get 16 for my 03. They claim to have the maintenance records and it's still under warrant plus, has a carfax report. Ebay covers you up to 20k if it is a lemon. What would you have to lose?

I just sent the seller an email to see if he would be willing to have EBay inspect the car before finalizing the sale. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

Well, I don't know why he's selling it for 18k as the buyout, cause that's cheap, but the really low starting price is normal ebay tactics. I did the same for my Camaro and it got a LOT of attention. He still has a Reserve price on it of maybe 16k or 17k. That way he doesn't lose all of that money. But I still don't know why it'd be going for that low.

wouldn't you kick your ass if it was legit!!?..and you passed it up? Why doesn't the guy wholesale it to a dealer?

The part I don't understand is...Even if it's a scam how would YOU lose? 1. It's still under warranty so, anything majorly wrong you could have a dealer fixed 2. Ebay covers a "scam" for up to 20K. I may just find out how much I can sell my car to carmax for and then pick this v up.

Well it's gone now so, either someone saw it as a deal they couldn't refuse or the seller realized how cheap he was selling.

In case anyone was still wondering...they never answered the question but this is the response I got back from the "owner" ....definitely suspect.
