Horrible paint job! What do i do? ---Photo's

Remove this ad
I brought my car to Maaco, (noone ever told me they suck). I told the guy what i wanted. I said, "make to as close to factory as you can, please do a good job" He quoted me $1399. Which i thought was very reasonable. ( i dont know much about painting cars or price for them. But i heard 1500 is average)

It took about a week and below are the smaller pics, Followed by the direct links to the Super size orginals.

Yes remember, you get what you pay for. A perfect paint job would probably cost 4-5K

Re: Horrible paint job! What do i do? ---Photo's

Damn.....Maaco??? Ouch I would have never gone there......not to rub it in or anything....but I would go back and tell them they need to fix their mistakes...Thats unacceptable no matter what you pay and they are a big company....Did you pay yet??

Re: Horrible paint job! What do i do? ---Photo's

I would not pay!!!
It looks like they did not prep the car correctly. A paint job is only as good as the prep!!!

Re: Horrible paint job! What do i do? ---Photo's

take it back, and tell them they need to fix it, if not report them to the better business bureau, and call head quarters. They did the same thing to my wife's truck. Brought it back, and told them. Ill be calling head quarters, and the BB. Got everything fixed in 3 days.

Also make sure you choose the type of work. Maacco has 3 different types of preps they do
