I brought my car to Maaco, (noone ever told me they suck). I told the guy what i wanted. I said, "make to as close to factory as you can, please do a good job" He quoted me $1399. Which i thought was very reasonable. ( i dont know much about painting cars or price for them. But i heard 1500 is average)
It took about a week and below are the smaller pics, Followed by the direct links to the Super size orginals.
Debris in the paint/metal
horrible orange peel all over.
Its not fully painted, See the black?
They sanded part of the chrome, and there is a gap between the paint and the chrome
The Paint Ran on the passangers side door
There is horrible Running of the paint on the side trimp
damn bro... you should have asked us about Maaco. take it to the dealership man. sure it will cost a little more but they always do a good job (plus they got the oem paint). id get my money back if i was you.
Damn.....Maaco??? Ouch I would have never gone there......not to rub it in or anything....but I would go back and tell them they need to fix their mistakes...Thats unacceptable no matter what you pay and they are a big company....Did you pay yet??
take it back, and tell them they need to fix it, if not report them to the better business bureau, and call head quarters. They did the same thing to my wife's truck. Brought it back, and told them. Ill be calling head quarters, and the BB. Got everything fixed in 3 days.
Also make sure you choose the type of work. Maacco has 3 different types of preps they do
