Planning to pick up a pair of these to replace my OEM HID bulbs unless someone scares me off. Any comments welcome.

I like how they mention this though "If you are not concerned with how the lights will look and are only seeking max light output please consider 5300K bulbs instead." Least they're being honest

Those are not 5th generation equipment. The better ones are all 300ish.

I went with Phillips bulbs/ballasts. They even look better than my friends value set.

Re: Ebay Hid's D1s 6000k For $145??

Ok guys... I put'em in... and.. well.. I'm not exactly happy with them. They are supposed to be 10,000K (whitish purple) but instead they are greenish blue. They look like 6000k. The 8000ks I have in my fog lamps look much nicer. The 10000Ks I have in the CTS look WAY better too.

The sad part... The whole HID conversion kit that I got with the 10000Ks were $143 shipped. I paid $180 shipped for these ones and I don't like them too much. Also, no where on the bulb does it say McCulloch.

I'm wondering if they're even real.

Re: Ebay Hid's D1s 6000k For $145??

from my own experience i personally think any hid kit with a ballast AND a starter looks and performs alot better so it should be a 3 piece set up
