whenever someone drops $5000 on rims and tires theres sure to be haters! | not haters. some people have more taste than others and dont follow the latest celebrity "trend".
is going to jail for DUI going to be the latest celeb trend now?
rehost the pics, too, please...on your own bandwidth. |

What celebs have you seen with them? And where are you getting them custom made? Tirerack sells them for $390 each for 20's. I got mine off of a former member though for $1500 with tires when he sold his car. |

(Pics) I hope you guys that add 22" wheels have enough sense to upgrade your brakes to stop those MFs! You've moved the mass weight farther out from the wheel's center. It will cost you a lot of HP and loss of braking. You can live with the HP loss but you may not live with the puny undersized brakes. Have enough sense to upgrade your brakes. No cross drilled/slotted rotors do not help. It requires larger rotors. |

and yeah $390 each for 20's, $800 each for 22's. thats $3200 for just the rims!
as for being custom made, when i went to purchase mine, i went to about 6-7 local rim shops, which all of them called tis, and they told them they were 4-6 weeks before they could build them and have them shipped. they said i might get lucky and find somewhere that already has some at a shop, i didn't so i had to order some. |

I just don't care for the looks of a wheel over 18" and even that's pushing it on some cars for my taste. To me 17's look the best on a CTS. Also, look at the problems of getting something like 20's and up to fit. Rolling fenders, suspension parts rubbing, harsh ride etc, who needs those headaches? I'm into riding in Caddy comfort, not what I look like doing it. I'm glad you like it however. Enjoy. |

I'm not sure why people are so negative. By the way the CTS is a fun car but it isn't really "Caddy comfort." Maybe you should have gotten a Eldorado or an Allante... America is about personal preference, 17's 18's and so on |

I would call that Caddy comfort. |

We all characterize and profile them all. From my perspective a lowered CTS riding on 22" Chromies, Chome pillar etc comes to me as a pimpmobile screaming, "Look at me people". When I see what they have done to the suspension and ride I must think "Do they realize how badly they Fu***D up there Cadillac". Probably not. |
