(Pics) 2-3 days later looking at the pics i still love the rims. Must feel great walking up to your car everyday. I say since u traded a 400+hp cobra for the CTS and this is an all style/show ride lets start thinking dramatic.
Thoughts for future: Lets get rid of the potential rub by cutting fender wells out. Then after u have that clearence u can drop that sucker. Someone here was thinking of air bags. If your car layed frame when u parked; OMG. You could just hang a net off the spoiler to catch the panties! You think u can make her sit any lower? |

I was looking into lowering and I think I would have to remove the inner fenders because when the car would come down it wouldn't be as centerered in the wheel well and would rest on the fender. I was also looking at heating the fender and bending it so that it would be far enough out so that I could lower it, I don't think the front would be too big of a problem but the springs in the rear would have to be super hard so the top of the wheel wouldn't hit the inside of the car or fender. Since we are about 6 weeks from snow here I am going to be putting the stock wheels back on until late feb early march in about 4 weeks so then I will begin looking into the lowering situation. I want to have some crusin time on the new wheels
Oh and ya every morning I get the same feeling I did when I just bought the car a few months ago when I see it with the new wheels |

(Pics) I used to have a mini truck that i did a bit of customizing to, and was in a Vegas car club. Everyone who bagged their trucks completely cut out the fender walls giving max pos clearence to lay frame, thats what I was suggesting to you. I have not really looked at the engine compartment/trunk to see what would take 4 this/ if its possible. I see u rolled the fenders but thats only step 1. Springs may be more sensible but bags will get you lower. |

I'm thinking about stepping up to the 22's but I wanna make sure it get the right offset, wheel and tire size to get the best ride possible. But Kev you definitely put the CTS on the Map with thoes 22's. Nice!!! |

I mean really people I have said it enough times, EVERYONE is welcome to an opinion on how the wheels look on the car. That said, if you don’t like them fine I would rather you not post but if you really just have too say something well by all means lets here it.
I don’t recall where I posted “ok people what do you think of the wheels one my car”, obviously I know posting them would get comments but the real reason I posted this was because I received quite a few pm's and emails asking me about my experience putting the 22's on the car. When I originally asked about 22’s people were like they don’t fit, the ride sucks, this and that but no one had actually tried it or new anything about dimensions or clearances and what to look for when installing them. This was more of an info post.
Thanks for everyone’s response whether good or bad
Not lets move on to something else. | Kev,
You gotta understand when you post pics or opinions here on the Forum you have asked for opinions indirectly. You will get them from both sides, the good and the bad. We talk about "Form over Function" or style over function. To some you have greatly compromised your ride and they are letting you know about it. But it makes you happy so you can ignore them. |

It take a lot more effort on the part of the rotor to stop all that enlarged mass. Plus it will accelerate slower too. Big brakes are $2,000 to $,4000 + |

I have the clear WW side markers with the engraved Cadillac sign with a yellow 4 bulb LED. At night when the head lights are on the blub is on and when I put my signal on the bulb alternates with the fog light blinkers. |

More info here but site is slow http://www.andysautosport.com/cadill...r00001657.html
I think I would go with the full front and rear system.
