I'm going to send you pay pal tomorrow WW for fogs. I do have the siverstars on both bulbs, do you suggest the clear or the tinted ( heat resistance same or one better then the other). I also have a blue chip colored car.

Re: Just finished the WW fogs...

Clear or tinted a simple personal preference on your part - they're identical materials.

Snoop - do you have the lenses where I etched the perimeter for better adhesion? Curious if anyone has tried these yet - they should be much easier to adhere to the housing.

WW

Re: Just finished the WW fogs...

ya i got the one with the ridges. i found it realy easy to stick togethter as long you use enough glue to cover all the sides. i know some people had a hard time with the same glue i used but my project went smooth. IMO the ridges were a great touch. thnx ww.

But...i need to know if the acrylic is gonna have a problem with heat if i use the oem high beam bulb in the fogs?

get sylvania high's seem to work fie for me......try to get the "cool Blue" ones I think they might be even better

I had the sylvanias for 2 months and one burned out so I replaced with phillips blue vision bulbs. they looked almost identical though..I am waiting on some low wattage zeneon superwhite bulbs. They shoud be here in a day or 2. I will post if they turn out nice.

Re: Just finished the WW fogs...

I have some really bright white (forget which brand) fogs and they haven't affected my acrylic lenses. I don't use them very often though.

Re: Just finished the WW fogs...

Sorry to bring back this old thread, but I am going to be putting in WW fogs and HIDs in the fogs next weekend. I am pretty sure HID bulbs run cooler than halogens. There should be no heat issues, right?
