maps light sockets found

I found the sockets at O'reillys this fine Sunday afternoon, they were 3.00 for 2 so when I get home, I hope I can finally get this little 10 min. job that's taken 3 wks to get done. It's the same socket they used to use in all GM cars back in the 60's and 70's for dash lights, etc.so if anyone else was having trouble getting the map lights apart that are soddered together this is the answer. can't wait for it to get dark. But if for some reason it don't work forward all emails to some nut house in Illinois.

been trying to change the map lights with super whites and broke both map light bulbs because there soddered together now they won't come apart ,so I finally found just the socket I already have the bulbs. chicago cts said he's changed a couple and never had any trouble he was a big help on all the rest of the bulbs I changed,all of the caddy map lights are soddered together now so I had to find just the socket which no one carried Now I'll will have all them changed tonight I HOPE
