Upgrades for V6 2.8L models

It seems that most of the discussion centers around the 3.6L and the CTS-V models.

Are there any links that I can follow to find upgrades for my CTS 2.8L?

Are there any exhaust upgrades, ie, dual exhaust, for this model engine?

I could be wrong, but I think anything that can be done to the 3.6 can be done to the 2.8. I think its more of a matter of more gains with the 3.6 than the 2.8.

Everything we can do on our 3.6's you can do with your 2.8. You just don't here much about the 2.8 mods because most of us have the 3.6. Regarding the exhausts, you can get a cts-v dual exhuast for your car rather cheap, ask on the V-forum.

heh, you can always find a wreck car with a 3.6 and have a mechaninc change the internals out for you and make your 2.8 a 3.6 (the blocks are the same, its mostly a crank and piston change)

spetrie...you may want to start your own thread. this is an old thread and the OP hasnt logged in for awhile and i dont know if there are many 66 year old supercharging a 2.8L CTS...

i have a 2.8 the only things i have done so far, installed HIDs, iradium high performance sparkplugs, and a short ram intake. the future things i want to do is figure out a ipod connection and clear out the fog lights.

you can also go into the V forum (general discusion section) and there is a sticky thread that you can ask for V parts. those guys are usually pretty quick on getting back with you if they have the part you are looking for...here is the link
