Talking So who is going to be the first to do a CTS-V grille swap?

IMO - it just looks sooo much better than the stock CTS one. Hopefully GM won't charge an arm and a leg... I'll have to check GM Parts Direct for a descent price...

Just make sure you don't buy it through your dealer - unless you know someone.

    Yeah, what exactly is E&G?

<---- I didn't see their advertisement anywhere or anything w/ the initials "E&G"...

It seems like the V-grill is more recessed...

[edit] Now that I look at it again - there's definately a difference. Without a doubt.

There is definitely a difference in that grill pictured and the CTS-V grill. I still like it better than the base CTS grill , but I don't encurage putting a V grill on a base model. That's like putting a false badge on your car IMO. But it does look better and I'm sure people will be doing it.

ya, the V grille seems to be chromed unlike the eg classic grille. u got a point about putting the grill on trying to pass it as a V, but im just gonna get the grill, not the whole front fascia and v badges.

    Same here.
The grill has to go. The mesh grill is the one that should have been on the car from the start. The stock one screams plastic a little too much for a car of this price.

My sentiments exactly. That's why the stock one had to go.

I know a guy in the Parts department at a Caddy dealership. Actually he is the parts manager. I wonder how much a V's Body kit and grills would cost?

I have read that the V grill is recessed. HAvent seen both side by side. Better check first.
