I have it in my 04 Silverado. Its ok.... I'm a 90's rock kinda guy (alice in chains, pearl jam, etc) and they mix in alot of obscure stuff. Out of the 150 channels, you'll be lucky to like 5.

I was going to start a thread about this. I was interested in adding it to my SRX, but I heard many things similar to what GNSCOTT said. I figured the combo of the Bose system and XM would be great, but I don't think it is worth the money. With the 6-disc changer, I have all the music I want.

I added Sirius, I feel they have better programing. Here's a link to photos of what I added in my 04 CTS.

    Re: XM Satellite Radio

I have an 04 CTS with XM+BOSE+6 disc+NAV. SUre I have my 10 favorite stations on the soft keys, but I always find myself scanning the other channels for news, sports, etc. Traffic and weather will start this weekend in my market area. I keep the 6 disc loaded with mix CDs from my PC, but I just can't seem to have enough variety while on the road. XM is GREAT!.

I added XM and a 12-disc changer to my Prelude two years ago.

I love it, can't live without it, and I only put on about 600 miles a month. And there are about 25 channels I regularly listen to.

How can you listen to 25 channels? Do you drive across country? My commute is 50 minutes and I can listen to maybe 3, and thats if I don't listen to regular radio, or a CD. You must be like my wife with tthe TV remote, she changes channels once a minute.

    Re: XM Satellite Radio

Yep, I got a remote mounted to the wheel.

Some days I need comedy, there are two channels of that. (2)

Some days I wanna hear country, there are three good stations for that. (3)

    Some days I want an oldies mix. I flip through 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. (5)

Some days I'm in the mood for more current music. There are about seven of those. (7)

Most days I want to hear jazz and vocal standards. Add another five stations. (5)

Finally, there's always some news. CNN, Fox, and CNBC are all represented. (3)

So it's not hard to come up with 25 channels that I will listen to in any given week.
