Mounting Emblem on E&G Classics Billet Grill

Remove this ad
I have a E&G billet grill as pictured below minus the cadillac symbol. How would i go about mounting one? Would i need to buy an aftermarket emblem or could i use the one off of the original grill? Also, where would i be able to purchase any parts needed to mount an emblem?

haha lots of questions but i'm new to this stuff

Re: Mounting Emblem on E&G Classics Billet Grill

Use some Bubble gum....bubble yum works the best, or double your pleasure and use wrigley

To be truthful, I dont remember seeing anything about this on any of the threads! Is there a space on the aftermarket grill for it or is it billlet all the way across?? If there is a space you can order on from caddy or Gmpd and stick it on there, otherwise if its just the billet, you will need something that will fit in between the billet strips to secure it as I doubt it will stick to just the billet strips.......in which case you will want to see what the manufacterer, EG, recommends.......Let us know what you find out, again this is just what comes to mind in the situation and may not be right....hopefully someone else can validate this or give you a better choice Goodluck

Re: Mounting Emblem on E&G Classics Billet Grill

New to this forum,

I had a E&G Classics billet grille and I used the emblem from the original.
You should have black mounting piece that bolts to the grille. The stock
emblems are plastic. I lined up the plastic nubs on the emblem to the holes on the mounting piece heated up the nubs with my lighter and smooshed em' flat. Its held up for a year through presure washing.

You could also use thin double sided tape
