Snap/Pop Sounds Under Dash Finally Recognized by Cadillac/GM?

Any GM/Caddie mechanics know if this is actually a solution?

The snapping sounds under my dash drive me friggin nuts at times. They can really get loud on mine. It's actually embarassing as I was driving someone in my new car and they ask "what is that horrible sound?"

So, what does a PI mean? Will warantee cover it? Is it a recomended fix? etc

Yeah that FAQ....I hear the guy who runs it is swell..

PI= preliminary information... This is basically a notice to the dealers that if someone comes in complaining of a certain issue, this may fix it...
It most certainly should be covered by the warranty if your car is still under warranty.
