Embroidered CTS Headrests?

Have you guys seen what's doing in the V forum?

I have emailed the guy that did the V headrests and asked him if he can do a CTS on ours. I have also asked how much it would cost and if there is a GB available.

What do you guys think? I think it would be really sporty looking and not overdone like many interior mods.

I will let you know when I hear something back from him.

I got an answer to y questions:

"Yes I can do a CTS logo. Assuming the headrest are the same size, we are good
to go there
as well. The new design would cost 75, which can be split between the group. I
can do a group
purchase. The embroidery would be 66 per set and that includes return shipping.
If you want to get
this going, let me know and the group would need to come up with the design.

I've always wanted embroidered headrests and this looks promising. Need to see pics of them on neutral headrests. Another option would be embossed headrests which would be a lot easier to keep clean...any leads??? Thanks.

Something similar has been offered on Ebay real cheap. It looks good but its a faux vinyl logo held on by adhesives. A cheap alternative.

Yeah, I've seen those. I wouldn't want that on my car. I think embroidered would be the only way to do it really, if you were going to do it.

So do you need to send your headrest cover to this guy? Know what the turnaround time is? A Caddy logo might look nice.

oh that does look nice, yeah there are a lot of companies that do this, its awesome to watch, its a sewing machine thats programmable, its just stitches the design right in.and its pretty even, the money the guys is asking. not too expensive but not so cheap that I would wonder about quality.

Just from reading the V thread I know that you do have to take them off and send them. The guy that had his done said you can take them off or put them on in 15 minutes total. That's what he said, I haven't tried it.

I have no idea what the turnaround time is, but it's a good question to ask. His email is on the beginning of the V thread if someone wants to write and ask.

He will also gladly send samples upon request, so that's a thought.

I actually ordered those. Decided not to put them on due to the cheap look of it.
