Address Beaming

Just picked up a new 05 on monday. The manual says you can beam addresses in to the cars computer with a Palm. Is there any way you can get an IPAQ to beam addresses in?

Yes, But it will only take one contact at a time. If you have alot it will definately take some time.

sounds like work for a rainy day...is that with the nav system?

It is work for a rainy day and in my part of the country Washington State, there will be plenty of rainy days soon and yes it has the nav system which by the way when I went to pick up the car they didn't have the nav disk said it was on order. Imagine that, the dealer has had the car all year and no nav disks. I told them to simply to to another car in their inventory and get a disk and they said none of the cars they have had disks. Dealers, what a joke. GM might as well sell these things through Kmart, Walmart, or Target. The service is the same.

ironically, maybe Kmart and Target, but you might actually get something done if they sold them through Wally-World's. being how they already passed GM in sales the last 2 or so years...talk about a monster. must be doing something right.
