Good quality ballasts and bulbs in my opinion. I think they make a big difference and do NOT look too ricey at all. They give off the same light color as a 5-series, or a maxima on the road.

Looks good though, I seriously regret selling my HID kit, I could have been had them installed but now I'm freakin stuck looking for OEM HID's which has become a pain in the ass. Ebay barely has a decent set. Last set I saw the @sshole was selling the left and right headlights separately with a starting price of 200 for each side plus $40 for shipping each unit separately, talk about a rip off. For that might as well go to the stealership. |

But im sure most of you have seen the "JDM" conversion Kits on there for the CTS. Thats what I have. I live about 45 minutes from the warehouse in NY, so I went down there with $250 and he accepted it over the $280 asking price on Ebay. I told him I would tell others about them, and he said he could give the same deal. This kit is no joke. NOT CHEAPO. I've had about 5 people tell me that it is a good kit. No cheap plasticky wires, and ballast, ignitor etc. Nice heavy duty ballast and brackets which fit so perfect under the headlight. They bolt up perfectly with about 1.5" clearance from the light. And the best part is they give off beautiful color, with what seems like miles of lighting lol. The stock projectors give off a great twinkle which accents them very well. A++ for the setup. |

Also they were 9006 bulb types so they would fit right into the stock housing. I'm so mad at myself for selling them. |

One person was supplying the majority of these sets. He was selling cheap. I started looking for a set, never saw them listed, and emailed him directly. I paid $400, more than I wanted to pay, but knowing the value, was glad to get for that price. As stated, used CTS HIDs are selling for $200 each. The market will determine the price. If they don't sell, prices will come down. The same is true for used CTS DVD Nav units. Not many, if any, being listed. If you're looking for an items, check eBay, several times a day. I would prefer NEW, factory OEM everything, over aftermarket, but I do like the bluish color of the 6000k lights on the BMWs and Maximas. Don't give up. |

1. Is this kit have separate ignitor and ballast?
2. How did you mount it to the bottom of the light?...did you screw it to the light housing?
3. does this kit have a separate power supply (wire that go directly to battery) to protect overheating the exisitng harnes?...I know some kit have the power module. |

Even GMPartsDirect charges over $900 for each assembly which is why they were a steal when they were selling on Ebay for $300 --> $400 a set. There was one seller that sold over 20 sets of them brand new. (I picked up my set for $380 shipped) |
