Replacing requires a flash from the dealer with new vin if you didn't know already. But its pretty simple 2 10mm bolts in the plenum on the passenger side of the motor. There may be a 3rd bolt at the bottom of the bracket I can't remember on that one for sure.

After replacing the ECM, how do you get it to the dealer to have it flashed? Or, can you have it flashed off the car? ( Pardon my ignorance)

Have it towed. Or see about installing it in their parking lot. Then is their problem getting it inside. Lol

Pretty much what KOT said or haveing it towed but if the tow truck is a flat bed the car will have have to be drug up and forced off since you can't put it in neutral with the car off.

The ecm itself is really easy to take out, you could practically do it at the dealership and swap it there. I think it has to be said though, alot of problems associated with this car are always said to be the ecm going, I was in that boat until I replaced my CPS.
