Blonde Is Back & Happy, But Not There Yet

Got the radio fixed on my CTS -- the dealer ordered and installed a whole new radio. And you guys were right -- it definitely fixed the volume problem -- the difference is like night and day. I may not even have to get different speakers. However, I have noticed that there is a slight delay when switching stations on the display screen. More like a fade of the info on the screen from one station to another. Hard to explain, but it really bugs me. Is this just something that came with the new and improved radio, or can there be an adjustment of some sort to make it stop doing this? It really bugs me...... but hey, I'm thrilled that I got my VOLUME!

Ask your dealer to take another look.........he'll get tired of seeing you.

I noticed the same thing ... there is about a half second delay between when you hit the button and when it registers on the display. This is really a pain in the ass when you are forwarding through a CD trying to get to a song. I keep overshooting what I'm trying to get to. It's nothing major... just an annoyance.
