    How to flush my 2007 CTS cooling system

    My best friend has a 2003 CTS & oil got im his radiator. I did an oil change today and theu recommended that I flush my cooling system. Hope they didn't jinx me. My question is. Is it something I can do by myself?

    I doubt it was oil in the radiator but rather trans fluid. Probably a bad trans cooler line at one point or another.

    I think a gasket was bad or something. But someone recommended flushing my radiator. Is it something one can do on their own? Or should I just pay to have it done?

    It depends on you and your confidence. Do you have the proper way of storing and getting rid of the fluid? You cant let it run down the streets gutter. Yes, this can be done by a car owner. Check the FAQ'S on this site to see if there is a write up on it.
