    switching from 225/50r/18 to 235/50r18

Hi, I have the 06 cts with 18in stock rims and large brakes package. U have 18in steel rims running stock sized winter tires 225/50r/18 but they are really worn out. Can I use 235/50r/18 tires and not have issues with rubbing or speed issues? I found a set for sale at a good price but would like to confirm before I buy them.

    Thanks

Factory size IMO is not as aggressive looking, try 245/45/18 i run them and they are good.

Depends on what you define as an "issue". You probably wouldn't have any rubbing issues, but your speedo would be off ~1.5% or so. Whether you think that's worth worrying about is up to you.
