    QuestionWhat's that CTS rainbow?

I don't know if it's weather related or not but today I noticed the black vertical separators between my front door and back door appeared purple like what you would see in an oil puddle on the ground during a rainy day. Purple, blue, etc...

Is this a permanent change to the black colored material? Is it aluminum, or what? it was raining today & I found it kind of weird I guess because I never noticed it before.

    Anyone else have similar findings?

I used to have a 300M that collected the same film on the frames. I never had any trouble getting rid of it; I always assumed it was some sort of pollution.

That was a discussion on the other forum. I recall it was covered under warranty. So it's not isolated just to your car.

What did you wash the pollution off with? I went through a car wash and it's still there.

It seems to be a problem with the anodized coating and had to be replaced. It was at the "Other Forum" Go there and do a search.
