    Underdrive Pulleys

Has anyone seen underdrive pulleys for the V6 CTS? It's a fairly easy way to pick up a few HP. I found a company that would make them but wanted an order of a least 75..a few more than I needed. Check out all the pulleys on the 3.6!!

Here's the people who said they could make them in quantities. These pulleys reduce parasitic drain on the engine.

    Re: Underdrive Pulleys

I picked this tid bit up in another thread. Seems that Pete has underdrive pulleys in the works. Here's an edited cut from his post:

There was a thread that was started here some time ago about a member trying to organize a "group buy" of pulley wheels, but Unorthodox Racing needed a minimum of 50 sets due to CAD programming fees and the fact that when parts are cut.....they are utilizing a bulk block of billet aluminum that is designed to produce such a minimum.

Getting the pulley wheel 3.6 specs engineered and then CAD programmed was an expensive venture to cut just a few sets. But now that those R&D costs have been paid.....I own the software and can have perhaps 25 cut at a time in order to make it cost effective for the single purchaser.....but final pricing as of yet for individual sales has not been set as I don't have final prodution costs for a volume run. I will have those numbers shortly.

It reduces the paracidic drain by the belts and pulleys. 5-10HP, varies with different engines

Robert, if time permits, why don't you do a sampling here on the forum, see who is interested and organize a group buy? For starters, I'm in!

I thought Pietro was interested but now he doesn't think it would be cost effective to make. As you can see from this thread there's not a lot of interest.

I tried to get more info regarding the number of pulley as the CTS 3.6 has a bunch. Do you do them all?

With the add ons, eventually it gets you there. But at a schedule you can afford?
