TXBEST, we may have to use some "hookups" for this one. Like I said, my LEDS are on the way...

I don't wanna jack a thread but yeah...it is nice. Initially when the Avic Z3 dropped, I was SOLD. THEN I heard about the DNX9140 back in Dec and was SOLD. I finally got the time set aside now to do it and then I ran across the new top of the line Avic. That's the thing with technology though!

Anyway it looks like the buttons on the bottom panel are capacitive. The ability to change colors of those buttons to match DIC and HVAC is a plus, but the excelon does that too. The excelon also can display minimal vehicle info (oil changes, current speed, etc.) Top that off with both units having voice control over various functions has me stuck on which one to buy...the Kenwood has Garmin nav so that may be my deciding factor. Having used Garmin for years without any issues (from nuvi to my Blackberries), I trust it. Have you ever owned any of the Avic series?

I ask a friend that does solder or however u spell it, he said something that small scale would b hard, especially if you heat up the board to much which could ruin the other components....

i have this on the list of first-round mods to do to my CTS, along with low/fog HIDs, tint, and modding the grill. when i will do this all is contingent upon my performance in Vegas next week
