Re: What happened to the VMAX throttle body?

Last I talked to Pete, almost a month ago, the TB was still in full development. I can give him another call here tomorrow or early next week and see what the word is.

tgar, what do you mean you sent a payment? Did you send something to Rx or to VMAX? As they are two different companies owned by two completely different people.

When the TB was announced, it was still in its very early stage of development (still a hand-built version) so it takes some time to get it right with the cnc machine etc.

I sent my payment to RX fully understanding the development time of the product. But after the first month i spoke with their office and they stated i would have it end of the week. Next month same thing and ever since i cannot reach anyone at all. Im a little nervous.

Wasn't there a rash of Rx bashing going on here a little while back...Seems those complaints are starting to come to fruitation and may have had some justification.

They seem to be back again if you go the the 08-13 performance forum. Lots of threads in there both loving and hating rx

Re: What happened to the VMAX throttle body?

I ordered some things from them a couple months ago and paid for the throttle body then as well.

I was told it'd ship in 30 days or so, but manufacturing can be delayed easily so I'm not going crazy over it.

I'm sure they'll respond here soon enough.

Never read/heard anything taking pre-order deposits and I was pretty tuned in to the few threads about the subject...hope theres no funny business going on with people's money.

There was a lot of heat with Rx a bit back. I haven't talked to Tracy since we had a schedule conflict with him installing my roomates headers which has been well over 2 months if not 3. I havent had the chance to talk to pete yet..it should be getting close to rdy though. Ill fill in some details when I get to talk to Pete early this week.

Have not been active on the forums due to the attacks mounted by 2 of our nastiest competitors, focusing on builds and products instead. If you Email you can always get status where I am rarely near the phone to answer. RXProducts@aol.com We are close to the final cuts to finish the testing (will need you back here TLorenzen as your car was the base for testing) in the next few weeks. Pete was here this past week.

You can still pre-order to be in the first batch, have been collecting cores for the first run.

Thanks for filling us in Tracy. Just give me a call when you want to set up a date.
