    Would Cadillac do what? Use clips to hold the rocker panel pieces on? Yes. Leave said clips visible to the naked eye because they only way to see them is to lie on the ground? Yes.

    Yes, in my mind and world, I do expect Cadillac to cover up clips that are on body parts, even if to see them you have to be on your knees. It's not like they are under the car, it is a body panel that I clean and apply wax to.

    In the end, its all about making a profit. Thats why mercedes had the rap of being pos's. Make something cheap, cover it up with something nice, sell it. Covering the clips esentially couldve cost cadillac a million dollars in revenue...you wouldnt think that but, but put clips that cost $2 total on 500,000 cars and thats a lot of money.

    That just got me thinking, I wonder if there is something out they that will cover the clips. Hmmmm.

    Sure there is. Take it to a body shop, they'll cover them for you.

    and ive been expecting them to recall the transmission cooler line problem...but thats not gonna happen either.
