Noisy door link, what size torx socket?

My driver's side door on my 04 cts is very noisy when opening the door, and I was told that the door link (GM part #25765478) needs to be replaced. What size torx socket do i need to get the bolt that goes into the body off?

Your question is a bit unclear. Is it when you hit unlock, or actually pull on the door handle?

I have something similar. When I hit unlock, my passanger side front door makes a noise. It sounds like there's friction between 2 metals.

Re: Noisy door link, what size torx socket?

When i would swing the door open it would make a creaking/ticking sound. I bought a new door link and found out that it was an e10 inverted star socket. Now my door is quiet opening and stays open at whatever angle I leave it
