    Re: 2003 CTS Misfire Problems

Without knowing the history of the car, new plugs and then new coil set if the idle continues to be erratic.
the P0300 2 4 and 6 are all related to #2 #4 #6 cylinders, which means one of your coil set is likely bad, they come in a pack of 3 per side.
It can also relate to bad spark plugs.
If it were me id do both coils and new plugs, no sense in leaving old stuff on one side for it to be stressed more than the new stuff.

Fixed. Valve cover gaskets and all that done, problem killed the coil pack, so I did those and the plugs while I was in there. Runs great now.

Best do the pcv upgrade or those vcgs will fail again and the spark plug wells will fill with oil again also.
