    Built in Radar

Does anyone have any experience with built in radar detectors. I had a K40 in my last car and was thinking of getting the Passport SR-7 in my 04 CTS. Any thoughts?

    Re: Built in Radar

    Yeah im all about escort/passports...

The simple answer is that an sr7 does everything the passport 8500 does for about 400 more...whats the difference? Ones built into your car,the other isnt.....im hardwiring my 8500 because i would rather save the cash and mod my car in another way....but yeah the sr7 is a great piece!
