2003 Cadillac CTS 3.2 alternator replacement

I will finally put an end to the "how to" of the '03 3.2L CTS alternator replacement routine. I'm doing mine this weekend. I shall return with the details of the removal and installation. I hope this helps some people.

They're actually not bad at all. Where there is usually nuts you have to hold on the back, on the LA3, they are welded right to the case so you don't have to fish a wrench back there. 2 E14 bolts hold it on, a 10mm hold the power wire and a single clip for the other wires. The more I work on this motor, the more I prefer it to even 70's small block stuff.
